VIDEO: Seagull Reportedly Takes GoPro Camera for Ride Over Cannes

Owner of helmet cam made by Half Moon Bay company GoPro says video the posted on YouTube shows seagull's short adventure.

When filmmaker Lukas Karasek visited Cannes, France in June, he brought along a Hero HD helmet camera made by Half Moon Bay-based company GoPro.

A seagull stole the camera and took it airborne above the city, the Slovakian filmmaker claimed — and eventually landed with it on a castle wall.

Watch a translated interview with Karasek speaking about how the seagull took the camera away from him, and how he eventually retrieved it. (When watching the interview with Karasek, click the "cc" button at the bottom right hand corner of the media player for captions in English).

While it's not certain whether this video was authentically "filmed" by a seagull, it's good weekend entertainment nonetheless.
