Local resident creates hats that marry form, function and style.
El Granada resident Stephanie Arbuckle has been making hats for over 20 years. She makes sun hats, cloche hats (also known as bucket hats) and rain hats for women from a variety of vintage and upcycled fabrics suited for both summer and winter climates.

Arbuckle's hats will be featured at a trunk show during tonight's Girls' Night Out event at , a boutique at the Shoppes at Harbor Village. Mocktails – apple pie shots sans the shot — will also be served. The milliner's wares, which are priced at $50 each, are regularly featured at the shop. They can also be viewed on her website here.

The event is part of Thursday's Local Nights at Harbor Village, a weekly evening of specials merchants launched this summer as a way to bring in more business. For more information, read an earlier article published .
Girls Night Out and Locals Night at Harbor Village will take place from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at 270 Capistrano Road in Princeton.
