3.6 Earthquake Hits Bay Area Tuesday Night

Epicenter three miles from San Leandro.

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake in the East Bay was felt from Danville to San Francisco and beyond tonight.

The quake was recorded in an area three miles from San Leandro at 11:36 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake had a depth of 9.1 miles, according to the USGS.
