Aurora Massacre Suspect Makes First Court Appearance
Prosecutors say they may seek the death penalty.
Looking dramatically different from the photos previously released of the Aurora movie theater massacre suspect, James Holmes made his first court appearance Monday morning.
Holmes is accused of killing twelve and injuring 58 when he allegedly opened fire in a packed movie theater. He carried multiple weapons.
Prosecutors revealed that they may seek the death penalty. Colorado law only allows two possible sentences for first degree murder--the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole.
