More about me: I’m 1.5-year old female Chihuahua with long hair. I am gentle, friendly and take to affection very quickly. I will need an owner who has experience with shy dogs. Part of my adoption requirements include mandatory training to build my confidence and socialize with new people and new environments. I’ll also need help working on getting comfortable with a leash. I am very treat motivated and trainable but will need time to adjust to my new home. Children in the home need to be in their teens. I can live with resident dogs and possibly cats. Name: Juanita

Sex: Female

Age: 1

Breed: Poodle mix

Color: White

More about me: I’m loveable Juanita. I’m a1-year-old altered female mini Poodle mix who needs someone to hold me. I love being held and resting my head on your shoulders. I’m quite shy at first but as soon as you rub my belly or head, I am all yours. I am so attentive and calm I would do very well for a first time pet owner. Once I’m comfortable with my surroundings, I can be a playful girl. I can be dependent on my person so I should return to PHS/SPCA for continued obedience training to learn how to be more confident. I can get along with others dogs and maybe even cats. I’d be perfect for an adult-only home. If you have any children, our interactions should be supervised. Won’t you be my special friend and come visit me? (Description written by Peninsula Humane Society)
