Ready, Set, Go: Stepping Out at the Pumpkin Run

A foggy cool morning didn't stop runners and walkers from showing up to participate at the annual 5K and 10K Pumpkin Run this year.

A foggy start to the 34th Annual Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Run kept the runners cool as they raced through the neighborhood and along the bluffs.

The event, sponsored by Senior Coastsiders, includes a Kids Fun Run, a 5K and 10K run and a 5K Walk.

Eric Johnson took first place in the 5K with a time of 17:17, his 5th win.

Sean Handel took first place in the 10K with a time of 36:57. He only started running last year and this was his second race.

Congrats Sean Handel for winning the 10K today! Not sure who looks more proud in the photo: you or your kids!
