SamTrans paratransit fares will increase by 25 cents on July 1, bringing the cost of using the service to $3.75 for a one-way trip.
Paratransit services are designed to transport individuals with special mobility needs who cannot use the regular SamTrans buses.
SamTrans Spokeswoman Christine Dunn said this is the second and last phase of the rate hikes that were approved by the SamTrans board in 2009.
The extra money generated from the increase will go towards operating costs.
