Summer Reading Program Begins at Library

Youth can win prizes for reading throughout the next few months.

Summer is finally here for Half Moon Bay students -- but that doesn't mean students will be on a learning hiatus until September.

The , along with all additional San Mateo County branches, is encouraging youth to sign up for its Summer Reading Program. Held from June - August, children from ages of "birth"  - 5th grade  are eligible to win prizes based on the amount each reads during the summer.

To sign up, visit the Half Moon Bay Library or any other San Mateo County branch.
