UPDATE: Teen Walkaways from Juvenile Detention Facility Spotted in Woodside

Seen this morning walking on Portola Road east towards Redwood City.

Update 9/14 1:54 p.m.: The county's Office of Emergency Services has reported that the two boys have been found near Lawler Ranch in Woodside and are currently in custody. The alert has been cancelled.

Two teen males who from a minimum-security juvenile detention facility in La Honda last night were seen this morning in Woodside, according to a message sent this morning from the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services to the county's non-emergency alert system.

The boys were seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning walking in the 3000 block of Portola Road headed East toward Redwood City, according to the alert.

On Tuesday night, they had been seen at 8:53 p.m. running were last seen running down Log Cabin Road towards Pescadero Creek Road.

The two juveniles were described as follows in the alert:

1. 16yr old Hispanic Male, 6-00 175lbs with Brown Hair and Hazel eyes. Last seen wearing a yellow and Grey sweatshirt, blue denim jeans and white tennis shoes.

2. 17yr old Hispanic Male, 5-07 180lbs with Black hair and Brown eyes. Last seen wearing a yellow and Greay sweatshirt, blue demin jeans and white tennis shoes. 

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office asks the public to be on the lookout for these two individuals and asks the public to contact the Sheriff's Office at 650-363-4911 if seen.

The public is advised not to make contact with the walkaways.
