Pigeon Point Lighthouse 140th Anniversary Celebration

A day-long celebration of the 140th anniversary of Pigeon Point lighthouse.  This free event, suitable for the whole family, will include grounds tours, information booths, local authors, live music, and the debut of a new video of the beginning of the restoration of the lighthouse.  There will be no lighting ceremony, but you can get a closup look at the historic Fresnel lens. A limited number of native plants will be on display and for sale.  The event is co-sponsored by California State Parks and the Coastside State Parks Association.
