Trio Cabrillo Tangos & More

Trio Cabrillo presents its third music scholarship benefit concert with an enchanting performance that will include a set of classical tangos “Four Seasons of Buenos Aires” by Argentinean composer Ástor Piazzolla, arranged by Trio Cabrillo’s page-turner, Michaele Benedict, who plays keyboards with the Coastside Community Orchestra.

Also on the program will be Ludwig von Beethoven’s Trio in C minor, Op. 1, No. 3, and Johannes Brahms’ trio in A minor, Op. 114.

All proceeds from the concert will go toward scholarships awarded each year by Coastside Community Orchestra to deserving music students nominated by Coastside music teachers. In its almost thirty-year history, the orchestra has given more than a hundred of these scholarships.
