Community Cuisine, hosts Joel Salatin, iconic American farmer, lecturer and author. 

Joel will share his passionate message about our local food system, how to heal it and how we can fall in love again with our lost partner: dinner! This event will benefit local food producers, farmers, foodies and the public with two lectures by Joel directed to our community. Twenty farmers, CSAs and small food producers will be displaying their locally grown produce, products and services. Attendees can come to one or both lectures. Options include partial or all day pass, student pricing and VIP catered reception Meet & Greet VIP Reception with Joel.

JoeL Salatin, is a full-time farmer in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. The family’s farm, Polyface Inc. (“The Farm of Many Faces”) has been featured in SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, GOURMET and countless other radio, television and print media. Profiled on the Lives of the 21st Century series with Peter Jennings on ABC World News, his after-broadcast chat room fielded more hits than any other segment to date.
