Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's Founders' Day Festival

Celebrate 40 years of of preservation at the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's first Founders' Day Festival on September 14th, beginning at 11 a.m. at historic Monte Bello Open Space Preserve.

This family-friendly festival will include live musical performances, line dancing, a historical exhibit, an opportunity to meet our rangers, a special hike, a puppet show, food trucks, games, prizes, and lasso tricks!

State Senators Jim Beall and Jerry Hill, Assemblymember Rich Gordon, San Mateo County Supervisor Don Horsley, and Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian will be with us to enjoy this special day and to honor our founders and the District's historic contributions to ensuring our region's ecological diversity.
We're looking forward to having you join us too!  Help us spread the word by forwarding this email to family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors!
