Sequoia Audubon October Meeting: Raptors of Belize

Ryan Phillips, Executive Director and co-founder of the
Belize Raptor Research Institute (BRRI), will talk about the institute’s
research and conservation projects dedicated to protecting raptors in the neotropical
gem of Belize. Many neotropical raptors are virtually unknown to science and
may be lost to us if steps are not taken to learn about and conserve them. BRRI
strives to form community-based projects to give opportunities to locals to
protect their biodiversity.

Join SAS on October 10 and learn how BRRI is making strides
in raptor conservation and unraveling the mysteries of these enigmatic species
of raptors.
