Zamora Rose Project World Debut Live Performance

In 2012,  local Half Moon Bay songwriter Ron Rose and San Mateo based musician spent a month of Sundays to come up with some musical and lyrical kernels for new songs.  It was an eclectic mix of rock, blues and bossa nova influenced ballads. So they coined their musical style as Rock n' Bossa Blues.  They later roped in Rose's daughter, Heather Scarlett Rose, to finish off the writing and arrangement of the songs.  Rose then hooked up a bunch of microphones, brought in some musician friends, and recorded all the songs in a spare study.  It took a few months to complete all of the recording, mixing and mastering.  The songs from those Sundaysessions were then released as Stand True.  As there wasn't a band, it was just released under the Zamora Rose Project name.
The CD was released in the Spring of 2013.  It has gotten radio play on over 80 radio stations across the country, and was briefly on the national Roots Music Report charts.  Rose and Zamora recently got a line up of musicians together to do a live performance of the album.Band members; Phil Zamora, Ron Rose, Joe Colella, Phil Sollar & Scott Beyer with guest Heather Scarlett Rose. The performance will be on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Old Princeton Landing between 2 and 5 pm.  They chose a Sunday date as it is in harmony with the  Sunday session originatons of the music.  All ages are welcome.  The songs and further information can be found on http://www.zamorarose.com
