New Leaf Holds Fundraiser for Community Education Group

The marketplace donated five percent of its Saturday sales to the Cabrillo Educational Foundation

A coastside marketplace held a back to school event last week to help raise money for a group that provides funding to community education.

 offered free snacks and gave away coloring books, and Bamboo Salon gave free haircuts at the Saturday event.

A marketplace spokeswoman said the store donated five percent of its sales for the day to the Cabrillo Educational Foundation.
