The San Mateo County Sheriff's Toy and Book Drive 2013 kicks off this week with a "Stuff the Bus" event at several locations in Half Moon Bay.
Last year, the Sheriff's Activities League was able to provide more than 12,000 toys and books to over 500 families in San Mateo County. Santa Claus will deliver presents to each child’s home, escorted by uniformed police officer, deputy sheriff or firefighter personnel.
Show your support in the form of a toy and book donation by dropping your donation in a collection barrel or bringing it to one of the Stuff the Bus events. The Sheriff's Activities League is also accepting donations of light refreshments or drinks for a Wrapping Party, where volunteers will gather to wrap the gifts for families.
