Devil’s Slide Trail Concept Plan Meeting

Devil’s Slide Trail Concept Plan Meeting in Moss Beach  on July 25th

The San Mateo County Parks Department will hold a public meeting to present the conceptual plans for the Devil’s Slide Trail Park on Thursday July 25, 2013 starting at 7:00 p.m. at The Moss Beach Cypress Meadows Conference Center.

Work is underway to transform that part of Rt 1 that was closed when the Devil’s Slide Bypass Tunnel was opened into a public park. The project includes resurfacing the of the old roadway and the addition of new parking spaces, bathrooms, better signage, accessibility improvements and habitat protection, and overlooks. Biking and hiking through the park will be encouraged and feeder trails from Pacifica in the North and Montara on the south are also in the work.
