Traveling to Minneapolis/St. Paul for My Annual Art-Cation

Want to travel with me on my Art-cation? You can view my travel postcard in this week's blog post. I'm in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Every year, I visit the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul). This may seem like an odd choice for a summer vacation spot, but I love it. It's my annual "Art-cation." My good friends Laurie Phillips and Jon Spayde take me around to the coolest things to see and do in the Twin Cities - art museums, beer gardens, theater, Hmong cemeteries, cafes, and artist studios.

This year, I've been kayaking on Lake Harriet, done Art-o-Mancy at the Minneapolis Art Institute, and walked around the trendiest parts of South Minneapolis.

Whenever, I travel, I take lots of photos and send family and friends a travel postcard so they can see what I'm up to.
