High Wind Advisory In Effect for San Mateo Bridge

Issued by CHP in response to storm pushing through Bay Area.

The California Highway Patrol has issued a high wind advisory for the San Mateo Bridge as a storm comes through the Bay Area this morning.

The CHP issued the advisory at 12:40 a.m. Friday morning.

According to the National Weather Service gusty southerly winds have pushed moderate amounts of rain into the Bay Area. A stronger storm is expected to hit the region by tonight.
