I think Deb Wong's photo at Princeton, #15, is stunning. Deb managed to capture the deep orange colors of the sunset while still retaining the blues. The rocks, boats and people all add interest. #15 gets my vote.

I love #15 taken by Randy Bales. Beautiful! It looks as if the subject is touching the sun.
Karin Meiswinkel October 8, 2012 at 03:27 pm
I find #3 by Valentin captivating. It incorporates a myriad of aspects involved in a sunset of this grandeur!
Janet Herringshaw October 8, 2012 at 03:39 pm
Carolyn Donnell - I like this one because the foreground detail adds depth and it was taken from a different view point.
Barbara Grauke October 8, 2012 at 08:48 pm
I vote for #9 Deb Wong's. I like that it has the foreground detail in a natural colored setting while capturing the red glow of the sunset. Beautiful!

I vote for Jeff Forcier's sunset photo as it features the sunset only - and he fixed all the plumbing in my house as he iS Half Moon Bay Plumbing.

I vote for Michael Seldins' photo #1 -- the bicyclist silhoutted against the sun is stunning!
