VIDEO: Octopus Walks on Land at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve
Unusual excursion captured on video in Moss Beach.
"Tuantube" uploaded this video of an octopus who decided to take a three-minute detour from its usual underwater routine at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve just north of Half Moon Bay.
Observers in the video comment that they see the octopus spitting out a crab while on land.
With last weekend's bringing crowds to the coast, this video has been shared widely across the internet in recent days. It was originally uploaded on June 19, 2011.
