Who Do You Trust: Accountants

The tax filing deadline for 2011 tax returns is behind us, and many of you were able to go through the process seamlessly because of the help of an accountant.

Using numbers, financial statements and standard practices, accountants analyze profit and loss. They also help people navigate the frequently changing financial, investment and tax laws so that they can keep as much of the money they earn as possible.

Many companies, nonprofit organizations and individuals also pay an accountant or a certified public accountant who they trust to give them shrewd advice whenever they're considering a decision that has any financial consequences.

There are many excellent accountants along the Half Moon Bay Coastside, but Patch wants to know who you think is the best.
