Low Flying Planes Spraying 'Greenish Type Fog' in Miramar

Miramar resident John Whitley is wondering if anyone can help him figure out why two airplanes were flying very low over Miramar Sunday afternoon and "releasing a huge amount of a greenish type fog that we just watched slowly enter our backyard and surrounding areas," he wrote in to Patch.

He said the two planes flew very low over his house twice on the east side of Miramar.

"We called the airport in Half Moon Bay," wrote in Whitley, "and they had no idea but thought it was maybe pilots practicing for an airshow? This really concerns us as why are they flying so low over residential areas and releasing who knows what in our breathing space?"

If anyone has any ideas for Whitley or who he should contact to find out what this is about, please leave your comment here.

Could it be something for the nursery or flower farms in the area? Or anyone know anything about geo-engineering and stratospheric aerosol spraying used for nuclear radiation mitigation? With the recent radiation detected at Surfer's Beach and in Miramar makes you wonder. So much mixed information out there don't know what to believe. Hate to think we're being sprayed upon with something we don't know about and could be detrimental to our health for all we know.

Anyone call the EPA? Seems like they should possibly be aware - or whomever has been leading the research for the currently discussed radiation?

Did anyone photograph the aircraft and green gasses being spewed? Were they government planes? Has anyone in the vicinity become ill since the incident?

Maybe a call to Jackie Speier's office might get answers regarding federal ops.

Could be Mosquito control? I have seen numerous mosquito traps recently placed around El Granada.

Lookup chem-trails on the internet. On any given day you can see the chem-trails in the sky. '''''''''these are different from con-trails which are a normal release from jets. Yes, they are spraying chemicals into our environment. You need to research and be very concerned.

How to STOP this madness!!!

I'm surprised they did not mention the size of the planes in the article. That is a big detail that was ignored don't you think?

Patch put a call into the Half Moon Bay airport and according to airport operations Les Proctor it was most likely small planes practicing on a Sunday afternoon for an air show using colored smoke. A message was also left for the general manager of the airport, who is expected to call back to confirm this. Patch editors will update this post once we learn more.

Why were they flying so low? Colored smoke? Isn't that made of antifreeze injected into the exhaust gases of the plane, colored dye and other chemicals? Not something I'd want sprayed over my house.

Two small planes and the time was between 4 and 5 p.m. according to Miramar resident John Whitley who reported this to Patch.

Christa - Your time stamp is way off. As I read your comment it is 10:40 a.m. on 1/15/2014 and your time stamp says 1:02 p.m.

Years ago I was doing research on the DOE - in one of the not so obvious pages, it stated that "the general population in 'control areas' (meaning any neighborhood, school), can be used for testing of various chemicals without notification as these tests are done for the knowledge of science. Dig around in the DOE site, I am sure ir's in there still as a disclaimer of sorts. Very disturbing. Time stamps, size of aircraft isn't really important - the green fog/spray is the important issue. Try the FAA? Keep up the diligence in investigations.

This mist is cancerous. They do it where its over populated. To get rid of us humans. Research has been done on this and it's true. My mom saw the exact same thing last night over downtown Oceanside. This is terrible!
