UPDATE: Walkaway Juveniles Found in Woodside

Two teenage boys last seen running down Log Cabin Road towards Pescadero Creek Road earlier this evening.

Update 9/14 1:54 p.m.: The county's Office of Emergency Services has reported that the two boys have been found near Lawler Ranch in Woodside and are currently in custody. The alert has been cancelled.

Two boys at Camp Glenwood, a minimum-security juvenile facility in La Honda, walked away this evening from the premises, according to a message sent out Tuesday evening to the San Mateo County Alert System. by Sheriff's Sgt. Joe Sheridan.

The boys walked away from Camp Glenwood at approximately 8:53 p.m., according to the alert sent out at 9:26 p.m. They were last seen running down Log Cabin Road towards Pescadero Creek Road.

The alert provided the boys' physical descriptions as follows:

1.  16-year-old Hispanic Male, 6' 175 lbs with Brown Hair and hazel eyes.  Last seen wearing a yellow and grey sweatshirt, blue denim jeans and white tennis shoes.

2.  17-year-old Hispanic Male, 5'7" 180 lbs with Black hair and brown eyes.  Last seen wearing a yellow and gray sweatshirt, blue demin jeans and white tennis shoes.

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office asks the public to be on the lookout for these two individuals and asks the public to contact the Sheriff's Office at 650-363-4911 if seen.

The public is advised not to make contact with the walkaways.
