Update: Body Identified as Pacifica Man
The dead man found Monday morning by a citizen walking the beach within Pillar Point Harbor has been identified as Eric Daniel Lower of Pacifica.
Update 10/29/12 3:50 p.m.:
A citizen walking the beach within Pillar Point Harbor stumbled upon a dead man around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning and reported the incident to authorities.
According to the San Mateo County Coroner's Office, the dead man is Eric Daniel Lower, a 44-year-old resident of Pacifica.

Around 9 a.m. Monday the body of a man was found on a beach within Pillar Point Harbor, according to San Mateo County Sheriff’s Detective Rebecca Rosenblatt.
The man is believed to be in his 50s. His vehicle was found nearby.
