BLOTTER: Ex-Girlfriend Accused of Breaking Man's Finger in Alleged Attack

August 10

12:00 a.m., 400 block of Kehoe Avenue: Deputy on patrol observed vehicle

the vehicle was identified and found to be wanted on a misdemeanor warrant

out of San Mateo. He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

8:28 p.m., Kelly and Main: Deputy dispatched to call of a man

down at a bus stop. The subject was determined to be too intoxicated to care

for himself. He was cleared by paramedics, arrested, and transported to SM County Jail.

 

August 12

12:00 a.m., South Cabrillo Highway and Filbert: Deputy dispatched to report of reckless driver unable to maintain lane position, and performed traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

1:39 a.m., Filbert and 3rd: Deputy on patrol observed vehicle go through stop sign and performed traffic stop. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

2:20 p.m., 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Deputies contacted a transient subject with open container of alcohol. The subject was agitated and uncooperative, and was determined to be intoxicated. A records check revealed the subject to be in violation of his requirement to register every 30 days as a transient sex offender. He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

7:47 p.m., 100 block of Los Banos: Deputy dispatched to report of assault in progress. A male victim had been assaulted by an ex girlfriend, who reportedly pushed his mother out of her way in order to gain entry into the home and began to punch the male, causing him to sustain a broken finger while defending himself. The female fled in an unknown direction. The man was granted an emergency protective order and was advised of the restraining order process. Deputie were unable to locate the female, and the case will be forwarded to the DA for review.

 

August 13

8:34 a.m., 400 block of Laurel Avenue: Deputy took report of theft from vehicle, when unknown suspect(s) took an estimated $2,500 worth of items from a vehicle while parked overnight.

8:57 a.m., 800 block of Columbus Street: Deputy took report of theft from vehicle, when unknown suspect(s) took items from a vehicle while parked overnight.

6:49 p.m., 400 block of Avenue Del Oro: Deputy took report of theft from vehicle, when unknown suspect(s) took coins from an unlocked vehicle while parked overnight.

 

August 14

10:36 a.m., 100 block of Mirada Road: Deputy took report of theft from vehicle, when unknown suspect(s) took a laptop, kindle, a checkbook, and clothing items from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,000.

12:24 p..m., Acacia and Frank Street: Abandoned vehicle tow.

 

August 15

3:07 p.m., South Cabrillo and Kelly Avenue: Traffic collision, minor injury.

4:43 p.m., 200 block of South Cabrillo Highway: Traffic collision, property damage only.

8:32 p.m., 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Deputies dispatched to report of disturbance when a male was seen yelling at a female and dragging her by the arm. The parties were contacted and Deputies determined the female had been hit on the face, leaving a visible injury. The male subject was arrested and found in possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to SM County Jail.

 

August 16

5:05 p.m., 500 block of Kelly Avenue: Subject came into the substation to turn himself in for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for prior DUI. The warrant was confirmed and the subject arrested and transported to SM County Jail without incident.
