BLOTTER: Stripped Motorcycle; Crystal Meth

The following information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County Coast from Dec. 8 - 15.

Dec. 8

1:52 am, South Cabrillo and Seymour: DUI. An officer stopped a speeding vehicle and arrested the driver after finding out he was drunk.

1:12 pm, 11000 block of Pescadero Creek Road: Identity theft. A woman reported her ATM card being used online without permission.

1:54 pm, Carlos Street and Sierra Street, Moss Beach: Warrant arrest. Officers found a subject to have an outstanding warrant.

Dec. 9

1:30 pm, Pescadero Creek Road, Pescadero: Grand theft. A purse containing an estimated loss of $1200 in cash, credit cards, a cell phone and other items was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

6:23 pm, Cabrillo Highway and Virginia Avenue, Moss Beach: Incident report. A group of people standing around a woman who had been flagged down a police officer. The woman was airlifted to Stanford Hospital.

8:07 pm, Bridgeport Drive and Coral Reef Avenue, El Granada: A by the police after he contacted his friend, and was airlifted to the airport to be transported to a medical center.

Dec. 10

8:00 pm, Route 1 and North Main: Hit and run. A driver reported a vehicle rear ended them and didn't stop to exchange information.

8:30 pm, Johnson Pier, Princeton: Incident report. A woman suffered three puncture wounds from the bite of a dog.

11:59 am, Route 92 east of Main: Traffic collision. A minor injury was caused by a traffic collision.

7:28 pm, Miramontes Point Road, east of Route 1: DUI. A speeding vehicle was pulled over and an open beer bottle was found inside. The driver was arrested for driving under alcoholic influence.

Dec. 13

1:37 am, 200 block of Route 92: Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officers pulled over a vehicle in violation of the California Vehicle Code, and found the driver to be in possession of crystal methamphatamine as well as a stripped motorcycle believed to be a match on a stolen motorcycle out of Minnesota. The driver was arrested and taken to county jail.

1:30 pm, 500 block of Highland Avenue: Incident report. A license plate was either lost or stolen somewhere on the Coastside.

5:21 pm, Cowell Purisima Trail: Auto burglary. A purse was stolen from a vehicle and the owner's credit cards were used at two different locations within two hours. Another citizen reported his vehicle broken into at the same location and his backpack was stolen containing about $685 of miscellaneous items.

7:00 pm, Cabrillo Highway at Ano Nuevo State Beach: Auto burglary. A man returned to his vehicle from surfing and found that his cell phone, car keys, wallet and pants were stolen.

Dec. 14

6:15 pm, 0-100 block of North Cabrillo: Public intoxication. A drunken man was yelling at customers in a store and was arrested.

9:51 pm, 200 block of Vermont, Moss Beach: Warrant arrest. Officers arrested a man with an outstanding no-bail warrant.

Dec. 15

2:07 pm, 500 block of Dolores: Petty theft. Registration tabs were taken from a vehicle.

2:09 pm, 500 block of Grove: Disturbing the peace. An officer went to check on a family dispute.
