BLOTTER: Fighting Men Fall Through Window; Drunken Man Yelling

The following information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County Coastside from June 26-July 3.

June 26

1:39 am, 100 block of West Point, Princeton: Public intoxication. A drunken man was found yelling and stumbling along a trail near a radio tower. He was taken to county jail for being unable to take care of himself.

7:51 pm, 200 block of Pilarcitos Avenue: Drunk in public. A woman was found to be too intoxicated to care for herself and was arrested and taken to county jail.

10:43 am, 200 block of Alameda Avenue: Harassing phone calls. Someone was receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown source.

10:10 pm, 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Misdemeanor warrant. A man found to be loitering in the dark behind a retail store and was determined to be wanted on a misdemeanor warrant. He was arrested and taken to county jail.

10:59 pm, 300 block of Eagle Terrace Drive: Drunk in public. Two friends were involved in a physical altercation and one of them being too drunk was taken to county jail.

June 29

12:25 pm, 400 block of Casa Del Mar: Battery. A man pushed another man during an argument, who pushed back causing them to get into a physical altercation resulting in them falling through a window. They were treated for lacerations after being taken to a hospital.

10:00 pm, South Cabrillo Highway and Kelly Avenue: Hitchhiking. Officers talked to a hitchhiker who was under the influence of a controlled substance. He had a medical marijuana card and explained he had a doctor's recommendation to use the drug.

June 30

July 1

5:47 pm, Higgins Canyon Road and Main Street: Traffic collision. Property was damaged during a traffic collision.

July 2

7:38 am, Route 92 and Main Street: Petty theft. A stereo and $200 cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

8:05 am, 500 block of Magnolia Street: Petty theft. A man reported someone had stolen an in-dash stereo from his unlocked vehicle.

July 3

7:31 am, 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Theft. Two men stole a case of beer from a drug store.

10:36 pm, 1500 block of Spinnaker: Vandalism. Unknown people turned on the faucet in the sunroom of a residence when the owners were not home.
