BLOTTER: Trying to Run an Ex Off the Road; Threatening with a Knife

The following information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County Coast from Dec. 23 - 29.

11:30 am, 8400 block of Cabrillo Highway: Incident report. A vehicle was driven through a store front damaging only the building and some food items, with no injuries. 

7:13 am, South Cabrillo and Main: Felony warrant. Officers arrested a transient placed on no-bail probation hold.

Dec. 25

12:01 am, 800 block of Arnold: Battery on spouse. A woman reported her ex-husband pulled her hair and pushed her during an argument.

Dec. 26

12:01 am, 0-100 block of Stone Pine: Brandishing a weapon. Officers arrested a man yelling threats at a couple while holding a knife and a cinder block.

9:31 pm, 8800 block of La Honda Road, La Honda: Officers arrested someone with an outstanding warrant.

10:15 pm, Pescadero Creek Road, Pescadero: DUI. Officers arrested someone driving under the influence of alcohol.

12:01 am, Cabrillo Highway and San Mateo Road: Failure to obey restraining order. An ex-husband violated a domestic violence restraining order by following his ex-wife and children and attempting to run them off the road causing property damage. 

Dec. 29

9:05 am, 400 block of Wave: Vehicle tow. A vehicle was towed due to a registration expired over six months.

2:31 pm, Main and Seymour: Weapons. Two teenage brothers were seen in an involving a suspected firearm which later was said to be a paintball gun.

4:15 pm, 100 block of San Mateo Road: Stolen property. A cell phone was stolen from a recycle depository.

7:17 pm, 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Possession of controlled substance. While a man was meeting with a woman behind a closed business, officers investigated and found the man to be on probation. He was arrested for being in possession of crystal methamphetamine.
