BLOTTER: Meth Arrest, Bonfire Explosion, Cleaning Complaint

The following information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County Coast from Sept. 5- 12.

8:15 am, 700 block of Main Street: Burglary. $140 cash and an iPod was taken from a medical office.

1:03 pm, 600 block of Main: Traffic collision. Property was damaged in a traffic collision.

4:38 pm, Kelly and Cabrillo Highway: Traffic collision. Property was damaged in a traffic collision.

Sept. 8

3:26 am, 100 block of Amesport Landing: Warrant arrest. While investigating a verbal argument between two men and a woman, an officer found one of the men to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

8:11 am, Redwood Drive, La Honda: Vandalism. Debris may have been thrown, shattering a vehicle's rear window.

11:28 pm, Route 1 south of Route 92: Public intoxication. A man was observed leaning over an overpass and then throwing a white object upon seeing the deputy. He was too intoxicated and was arrested.

Sept. 9

6:52 pm, 19900 block of Cabrillo Highway, San Gregorio: Public intoxication. A possible explosion from a bonfire on a beach alerted officers to finding two subjects to interview, finding one of them to be intoxicated.

Sept. 10

1:35 am, 200 block of Capistrano Road, Princeton: DUI. Officers made a traffic stop and found the driver to be intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to county jail.

3:43 am, 100 block of San Mateo Road: DUI, suspended license, possession of controlled substance. Officers observed a driver make an illegal turn and continue to drive erratically. The driver was found to be intoxicated and failed sobriety tests. He was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. He was arrested.

6:11 am, 500 block of Purissima: Burglary. Approximately $450 in cash was taken from two businesses overnight.

10:22 pm, Cypress and Pilarcitos: DUI, drive with suspended license. Officers pulled over a vehicle and found the driver to be intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. He was arrested and taken to county jail.

Sept. 11

6:09 am, 200 block of Princeton Avenue, Princeton: Public intoxication. Three subjects were found to be intoxicated and were arrested.

9:41 pm, 700 block of North Street Pescadero: Vandalism. A citizen called to report a driver who smashed the rear and side windows, and the side mirror with an object.

Sept. 12

10:17 am, 500 block of Main Street: Public intoxication. A man was arrested for being too intoxcated to take care of himself.

6:00 pm, 300 block of 13th Street, Moss Beach: Identity theft. Someone gained a woman's personal information and made online purchases.

7:30 pm, 400 block of Laurel Avenue: Incident report. A woman expressed her displeasure with the quality of a cleaning company. They threatened her when she complained.
