BLOTTER: Punched Neck, Drunken Chase, Stolen Wine

The following information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County Coast from Sept. 29- Oct. 6.

Sept. 29

8:44 am, 400 block of Cypress: Missing person. A 15-year-old juvenile was reported missing.

9:10 am, 400 block of Willow: Missing person. A missing person was found and released to her mother.

10:58 am, 100 block of San Mateo Road: Vandalism. Graffiti was found on a grocery store.

11:15 am, 0-100 block of Sunset Terrace: Harassing and annoying phone calls. A woman received four threatening phone calls over two weeks from a telemarketer.

12:10 pm, 500 block of Fourth Street, Montara: Vandalism: A vehicle was vandalized when its driver's side window was smashed.

4:30 pm, 100 block of San Mateo Road: Suspicious circumstances. An unknown person signed for a woman's new checks.

4:59 pm, 1000 block of Tamarind Street, Montara: Burglary. A residence was forced into.

6:59 pm, 8100 block of Cabrillo Highway, Montara: Public intoxication. A man was seen harassing customers, and verified too intoxicated to care for himself.

Oct. 1

10:17 am, 200 block of Pilarcitos: Incident report. While an officer was approaching a vehicle parked on the side of the road, the passenger got out and ran as the car sped off. The driver didn't know why her boyfriend fled.

8:02 am, 700 block of Arnold: Hit and run. Property was damaged during a hit and run collision.

1:30 pm, 2000 block of Bordeaux Lane: Grand theft. Two bicycles were stolen from the driveway of a residence.

8:00 pm, Grey Whale Cove: Burglary. A vehicle was burglarized.

8:07 pm, Route 1 at Redondo Beach Road: DUI. A man was seen by officers urinating in the grass on the side of the road, then running to his vehicle and pulling away. The officers stopped the vehicle and sent the drunken underage driver to First Chance and the younger passenger to San Mateo Medical Center.

11:32 pm, 0-100 block of Kelly: Public intoxication. A man and woman were chasing each other in the street before they were arrested for public intoxication.

Oct. 2

12:01 am, 400 block of Sears Ranch Road: Burglary, vandalism. The handle of a classroom door was sheared off, and it was discovered items were thrown around and a window screen was knocked on the ground.

1:59 am, 200 block of Coral Reef, El Granada: Juvenile contact. Several juveniles were reported making noise and the parents called to pick up their children.

2:30 am, 200 block of Coral Reef, El Granada: DUI. An officer saw a vehicle speeding, hitting numerous trees on a dirt trail, with a flat tire and the driver attempting to leave the trail and turn onto a street. The driver was found to be intoxicated and is now under investigation by CHP.

9:12 am, 200 block of Coral Reef, El Granada: Vehicle tow. A car blocking the fire road was towed.

9:47 am, 300 block of Granelli Avenue: Missing person. A 17-year-old was reported missing.

11:45 am, 300 block of Granelli Avenue: Receiving stolen property. A runaway 17-year-old that was reported missing was found to be guilty of stealing three GPS units, two from unlocked vehicles.

1:36 pm, North Cabrillo Highway and Frenchman's Creek Road: Traffic collision. Property was damaged during a traffic collision.

Oct. 3

5:32 am, 300 block of Columbus Street: Public intoxication. A 22-year-old man was found sitting in a car that did not belong to him. He was determined too intoxicated and transported to First Chance.

10:45 am, 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Possession controlled substance, unlicensed driver. A driver with a warrant out for his arrest was found in possession of crystal methamphetamines and driving without a license. He was arrested and taken to county jail.

Oct. 4

12:20 pm, 400 block of Capistrano Road: Warrant arrest. A woman with an outstanding warrant for her arrest was found and booked into county jail.

3:10 pm, 300 block of Avenue Cabrillo: Grand theft. A bicycle was stolen from a porch.

6:15 pm, Route 1 and Virginia Avenue: Public intoxication. A man was found too drunk to take care of himself and was taken to county jail.

6:34 am, 500 block of Stone Pine Road: Public intoxication. A man was found too drunk to care for himself and was taken to county jail.

Oct. 5

9:15 am, 0-100 block of North Cabrillo Highway: Petty theft. A man was arrested for shoplifting a bottle of wine.

Oct. 6

1:44 pm, Pilarcitos and Pine: Traffic collision. Property was damaged during a traffic collision.

11:05 pm, 500 block of Willow Avenue: Battery. Officers checked out a report of a domestic dispute. The victim said her boyfriend punched her neck leaving visible injuries, and had abused her a month before. The officers arrested the man and he repeatedly refused to cooperate with the officers.
