BLOTTER: Steak Knives Thrown; LSD Found

The following information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Half Moon Bay and the unincorporated San Mateo County Coast from Dec. 16 - 22.

Dec. 16

6:27 am, North Cabrillo and San Mateo Road: Hit and run. A driver was cited for a non-injury hit and run collision.

9:00 am, 300 block of 12th Street, Montara: Vandalism. A vehicle was reported with four deflated tires.

2:43 pm, Cabrillo Highway and Miramontes Point Road: Possession of a controlled substance. Officers pulled over and searched a vehicle finding a pipe and a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine.

8:43 pm, 200 block of Capistrano Road, Princeton: Felony assault. During a verbal assault between two employees of a business over a prior relationship one of them threw a handful of steak knives at the other.

Dec. 19

9:30 am, 700 block of Sonora Avenue, El Granada: Vandalism. Four panels of a garage door were dented, making it inoperable.

Dec. 20

3:30 pm, 100 block of Young Avenue: Grand theft. Credit cards were stolen from a vehicle at a beach and were used at two separate businesses.

Dec. 21

9:30 pm, 500 block of Eighth Street, Montara: Warrant arrest. Officers arrested two people under outstanding warrants.

11:11 pm, Northbound Route 1 and Kelly: Possession of a controlled substance. The driver of a pulled over vehicle admitted to smoking marijuana and was found in possession of suspected LSD.

Dec. 22

1:10 am, South Cabrillo and Pine: Suspected license. A driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.

7:30 pm, 300 block of Third Street, Montara: Stolen vehicle. A locked vehicle was stolen out of its owner's driveway.
