49ers Super Bowl loss was devastating to many, but the California Highway Patrol says the day was worse for some.
Between noon on Feb. 3 and 6 a.m. on Feb. 4, the CHP made more than 50 arrests in the Bay Area for driving under the influence, CHP Officer Art Montiel said Thursday.
Additionally, there were two collisions in which victims suffered life-threatening injuries, he said.
