Cliff Rescue at Mori Point in Pacifica
Man, woman and dog stranded on Monday afternoon.
Emergency crews rescued a man, woman and dog who were stranded on a cliff in Pacifica on Monday afternoon, fire officials said.
Firefighters from the North County Fire Authority responded to Mori Point at around 12:20 p.m. and found the man, woman and dog about 150 feet below the bluff.
Fire officials said the dog had climbed down the cliff and could not get back up. The man and woman went down to rescue the animal and became trapped as well, fire officials said.

Fire crews repelled down the cliff using an anchor system with ropes and pulleys and pulled the man, woman and dog to safety within two hours, according to fire officials. No one was injured during the incident.
