The Coast Guard suspended its search for two missing boaters on Monday after their vessel capsized off the San Mateo County coast Sunday morning.
At about 10:30 a.m. the Coast Guard responded to a report of an 18-foot boat capsizing with four people onboard in the vicinity of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, officials said.
Two of the people were able to swim to shore on their own, with one requiring minor medical attention.
The two missing boaters were reportedly not wearing personal flotation devices.
Search-and-rescue teams from the Coast Guard, the sheriff's office and local agencies responded to the area to assist in the search for the two remaining men, but the Coast Guard called off its search at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
