San Mateo County Firefighters welcomed 33 new recruits who recently graduated from San Mateo County Fire Academy Class 24, including Coastside resident Marc Hagaki.
Watch the video of their rigorous training before reaching the title of firefighter. The video was screened at the graduation ceremony. The training is a 14-week fire academy for seven different cities on the Peninsula which are covered by six different fire departments.
