Incident took place at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Half Moon Bay.
A report of two men holding guns near the Main St. housing complex in Half Moon Bay this afternoon prompted an all-hands-on-deck response from Coastside patrol units, according to Lt. Lisa Williams, head of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office substation in Half Moon Bay.
The sighting took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. by a woman who was driving on the south end of Main St.
"All Coastside patrol units responded to the call due to the report of subjects armed with guns," Williams said.

After the Sheriff's deputies arrived, they discovered that the 'guns' were actually airsoft-type pellet guns used for recreational purposes, according to Williams. The deputies found the pellet guns with two juveniles in a nearby apartment, Williams said.
"The juveniles and their parents were contacted and counseled regarding their actions," Williams said.
