UPDATE: Highway 92 Near Skyline Open in Both Directions

An overturned dump truck caused the California Highway Patrol to close state Highway 92 in both directions Wednesday morning.

10:35 a.m.: Westbound lanes of state Highway 92 near Skyline Boulevard were back open Wednesday morning following an accident in which a dump truck overturned, blocking all lanes for about an hour and a half.

Eastbound lanes were expected to reopen by about 10:45 a.m., once a tow truck rights the crashed vehicle, according to the CHP.

The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. on state Highway 92 just west of Skyline Boulevard.

A CHP officer said the crash happened at about 8:45 a.m. but that he did not yet know if there were any injuries.

Traffic is being re-routed and there is no estimated time for when the roadway will reopen. A Sig-alert was issued at 9:06 a.m.

Drivers leaving Half Moon Bay are being advised to use Sharp Park Road or state Highway 84 as alternative routes.
