By Bay City News

A head-on traffic collision near Alice's Restaurant on the outskirts of Woodside led to a victim being airlifted from the scene with major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At 6:58 p.m. the collision was reported on Skyline Boulevard, the winding road stretching through rural areas of San Mateo County.

That road has been shut down because of the collision. Initial reports were that at least one victim was not breathing, and there may be multiple injured victims, the CHP said.
