Man Falls from Cliff Near Pescadero

San Jose man falls to his death on Friday.

A San Jose man fell to his death on Friday from a cliff along the San Mateo County coast, a coroner's deputy said today.

Ruben Santos, 56, died from injuries suffered when he fell from a cliff near state Highway 1 and Pescadero Creek Road, according to the San Mateo County coroner's office.

Santos was declared dead at the scene.
