Massage Parlor Searched on Suspicion of Prostitution

Employee arrested and owner cited last week.

Police searched a massage business in San Mateo on Wednesday, arrested one employee on suspicion of prostitution, and cited the owner for several misdemeanor violations related to the business, police said.

Police had received several reports that the Celandine Day Spa at 155 E. Fifth Ave. was offering prostitution in addition to its regular massage business, and police gathered evidence supporting those reports, police said.

On Wednesday afternoon, police served a search warrant there, which led to one arrest and the citations for the business's owner, Daly City resident Michelle Yang, 41. Shui "Cece" Chen, 45, of Hayward, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of prostitution and was booked into San Mateo County Jail.

Why are they allowed to get warrants for "Suspicion of Prostitution" when they can't get warrants for Suspicion of drug dealing, or Suspicion of being a child predator. Once again law enforement has forgottne they are PUBLIC SERVANTS sworn to protect the public, and they are wastign tax dollars trying to police the sex lives of the community, while cops from all over the country are regularly caught with prostitutes and we have several city councilman arrested for prostitution and they get their charges dropped. What other law is ENFORCED with just ZEST?
