UPDATE: All Lanes Clear Following Major Crash on CA-92 West

CHP reports all lanes are clear following a multiple-vehicle injury crash that blocked lanes around 8:30 a.m.

Updated 9:40 a.m.: California Highway Patrol is reporting that all lanes are clear following a multiple-vehicle injury crash that occured on the CA-92 westbound around 8:30 a.m. this morning.

Several lanes of CA-92 west were blocked as officials worked to clear the crash. A severe traffic alert was issued, and motorists were advised to avoid the bridge if possible.

According to the website 511-SF Bay, as of 8:36 a.m. Tuesday morning, a severe traffic alert has been issued for the San Mateo Bridge, westbound CA-92.

The left lanes are reportedly blocked by a multiple-vehicle injury accident.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway.
