Pacifica Stores Evacuated Due to Gas Leak
Fire department received report of possible explosion at Linda Mar Shopping Center.
A Pacifica Ross store was evacuated on Saturday due to a natural gas leak, according to a fire officials.
The fire department received a report of a possible explosion at the Ross at 1410 Linda Mar Blvd. shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to the North County Fire Authority.
Fire crews arriving on the scene found a strong odor of natural gas in the building and a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. The store and an adjoining Rite-Aid were evacuated.

Fire crews shut down the heating system and ventilated the building, and coordinated with PG&E to locate the source of the gas. There was no damage to the building or any injuries.
