A 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stabbing the driver of a taxi she traveled in and then stealing the cab Friday evening in Pacifica, police said.
The stabbing and carjacking were reported around 5:50 p.m. in the area of West Manor Drive and Esplanade Avenue. Arriving officers found a man bleeding from a stab wound, Pacifica police said.
The victim, a taxi driver for Serra Yellow Cab, told police the suspect was a woman he picked up and drove to Pacifica. Once they arrived in Pacifica, the woman allegedly stabbed him, police said.

The driver fled the taxi, and the woman drove away in the cab, police said. The taxi was later found in Pacifica's Fairmont neighborhood, and the suspect was found in South San Francisco near Kaiser Permanente Medical Center on El Camino Real, according to police.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Amanda Aldeguer, of Pacifica, was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder and carjacking, according to police. She is being held at San Mateo County Jail without bail.
