April 6

1:42 p.m., 300 block of Bridgeport, El Granada: Warrant Arrest. Deputies were given permission to enter a residence and serve a warrant for the subject’s arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the subject arrested and taken to county jail.

4:30 p.m., 300 block of Princeton Ave, Princeton: Incident Report. Deputies met with a citizen concerning a civil dispute between neighbors. The reporting parties concerns were with construction noise and parking. Threats were made and the parties were instructed on how to obtain restraining orders.

April 7

9:29 p.m., Etheldore Street and Sunshine Valley Road, Moss Beach: Warrant Arrest. Deputies made a traffic stop and found that the driver was on parole with search and seizure and an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and taken to county jail.

2-3 p.m., 200 block of San Mateo Road: Grand Theft. An $800 tent was stolen from a vehicle.

Unknown time, 200 block of Main: Vandalism. An officer on patrol observed gang-related graffiti on the wall of a residence.

 

April 8

3:20 a.m., 0-100 block of Sailfish: Domestic battery, Violation of restraining order. Police were dispatched to a domestic dispute after a woman reported her recent ex-boyfriend threatened to kill her. He left, taking her cell phone and their dog. He later returned and continued to threaten the woman while reportedly holding a pocket knife. He left again before police arrival. The female was issued a protective order, and police were able to contact the suspect by cell phone to advise him of the restraining order. The suspect returned to the home again in violation of the restraining order. He was arrested and transported to county jail.

12:21 p.m., Cabrillo Highway and Grandview Boulevard: Incident Report. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a reckless driver. They located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. The driver did not have a license and was slurring his words. The driver stated that he is diabetic but does not take insulin. Medics arrived to evaluate the driver. The driver was suffering a diabetic emergency. He was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

 

April 9

1:41 p.m., 700 block of Grandview: Battery. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance when a mother arguing with her adult daughter’s live-in boyfriend struck him after he reportedly told her to hit him during an argument about rent. The daughter and her boyfriend left for the evening and the mother was advised of landlord/tenant information.

3:10 p.m., San Gregorio Beach: Auto Burglary. Between 3:10 and 3:20 p.m., unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger side window and the right rear passenger window of the victim's vehicle to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a laptop and two purses. The suspects(s) attempted to use one of the victim's credit cards in Half Moon Bay shortly after the burglary.

10:13 p.m., 3000 block of North Cabrillo Highway: DUI, Traffic collision. Police responded to a non-injury collision in which a driver thought to be under the influence of either alcohol or drugs collided with a parked vehicle. He was arrested and transported to SM County Medical for evaluation.

 

April 10

7:25 p.m., 200 block of Main: Incident Report. Officers took an informational report regarding a juvenile having difficulty breathing after she and a friend ran from a male who reportedly drove past them a few times and apparently looked angry when one of the girls shouted a profanity at him. The 13-year-old was transported to Seton Coastside for evaluation.

Unknown time, 400 block of Cypress Avenue: False ID to peace officer. Officers were dispatched to a report of loud subjects, and located approximately 10 people with open alcoholic beverages. The subjects were dispersed and admonished. Police later determined that a 22-year-old previously deported male provided a false date of birth to officers to avoid apprehension. The report will be forwarded to the DA for review.

Unknown time, 100 block of San Mateo Road: Annoying a child, Possession of marijuana. Officers responded to a report of a transient male who was overheard making inappropriate comments to two young children walking by. The reporting party wanted to confront the suspect, but called police instead. The transient was located by police and found to be in possession of marijuana. He was placed under citizen’s arrest by the reporting party for annoying a child and additionally charged with possession of marijuana. He was transported to county jail.

 

April 11

1:17 p.m., Half Moon Bay High School: Officers responded to the high school on report of three former students on campus without permission. One of them got into a verbal dispute with a student in a classroom. All three of the subjects were issued trespass warnings and advised not to return to the campus without permission, or they would be arrested.

 

April 12

2 p.m., Half Moon Bay Police Department: Failure to register. Officers contacted a known registrant, who is currently without a permanent address and required to register every 30 days. The subject was cited and released on his promise to appear in court for not registering in a timely manner.

10:48 p.m., Cabrillo Highway and Pescadero Creek Road: DUI. Deputies made a traffic stop and contacted the driver. They could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver. The driver said that he was coming from the “Marina” and claimed that he did not drink any alcoholic beverages. Field sobriety tests were conducted and failed. The driver was arrested and taken to county jail.

 

April 13

3:10 p.m., 300 block of San Mateo Road: Information report. Officers received a call from a citizen regarding an incident in which three juveniles walking on the shoulder of the road either hit the side of his vehicle or were struck by his side mirror. The driver pulled over and saw no damage to his vehicle and the juveniles kept walking.

 

April 14

4:47 p.m., 200 block of Capistrano Road, Princeton: Public Intoxication. Deputies responded to a report of a female adult asleep on a bench in the middle of the shopping mall area. They recognized the female from previous contacts and numerous arrests for public intoxication. Deputies asked the female to stand up and walk out of the mall area with them. The female was unable to maintain her balance and could not take care of herself due to her high level of intoxication. She was arrested and taken to county jail.

5:49 p.m., 11000 block of La Honda Road, La Honda: ID Theft. A woman was contacted by her bank and told that her credit card may have been used fraudulently at a Target store in San Jose. The victim had never been to that store. She had her card with her and did not know how her ID could have been compromised.

Unknown time, 600 block of Sprindrift Way: Vehicle repossession. A resident’s vehicle was repossessed.

 

April 15

8:35 p.m., 100 block of San Mateo Road: Traffic collision. Traffic collision, property damage only.

 

April 16

10:03 p.m., 0-100 block of San Mateo Road: DUI. Officers were dispatched to a report of a possible drunk driver and contacted the suspect driver, who appeared to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to First Chance.

 

April 17

6:44 p.m., Cabrillo Highway and Verde Road: Incident Report. Deputies received a call of a possible kidnapping and rape. Deputies contacted the victim, who told them that she was kidnapped in San Francisco and taken to the area of Higgins Purisma Creek Road. The male subjects then stopped and told her to get out of the vehicle. She ran from the area and flagged down a passing driver, who called 9-1-1. She had scrapes and abrasions and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. San Francisco PD was contacted and responded to take over the investigation.

 

April 18

12:31 p.m., Cabrillo Highway and Capistrano Road, Moss Beach: Warrant Arrest. Deputies made a traffic stop and contacted the occupants of the vehicle. One was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken to county jail.

 

April 19 

2:10 a.m., Johnson Pier, Princeton: Citations. Deputies contacted the driver of a black Cadillac and found that the driver was using the vehicle as a taxi service. The vehicle did not have a meter or any signage indicating that it was a valid taxi service. The driver could not provide proof of insurance or any documents indicating that this was a valid taxi service yet she was charging a fee for the service. She was cited for operating a taxi without a permit.
