7 People Injured in Head-On Crash on Sharp Park Road

Several people had to be extricated from their vehicles Sunday night after the collision on Sharp Park Road at College Drive.

A head-on collision on Sharp Park Road in Pacifica injured seven people Sunday evening, according to the North County Fire Authority.

The crash was reported around 7 p.m. at College Drive, fire department spokesman Matt Lucett said.

Several people had to be extricated from their vehicles, and seven victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital for evaluation and treatment, Lucett said.

Fire officials were on the scene for around an hour. The Pacifica Police Department is still investigating the accident.

How does a head on collision occur at that intersection. Not only is there a signal but there's a center divider. Plus, there was no fog last night. Why do I get the feeling alcohol was involved. Fog Fest attendees that had little too much?
