Police are investigating a stabbing that critically injured a teenager in East Palo Alto on Saturday.
Around 4 p.m. Saturday, police got a report of a victim who had been dropped off at a local hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in East Palo Alto, police said.
Surveillance footage shows multiple people dropping off the victim, a 16-year-old Menlo Park resident, at the hospital.
The video footage shows that the people, possibly the teenager's friends, did not stay on the scene to speak to hospital staff, police said.
The victim underwent surgery and was listed in critical but stable condition Saturday night.
No suspects in the stabbing have been located and the motive for the attack is unknown.
