Teen Runaway from Murrieta Could Be in Lake Elsinore

Shara Rickard, 16, has been gone from her Murrieta home since May 2, according to police.

Murrieta police are seeking to locate a 16-year-old runaway gone from home since May 2.

Shara Rickard is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds with black hair that may possibly be dyed blond, according to a flier posted Aug. 16 by Murrieta police. She has blue eyes.

Shara may be staying with friends in Lake Elsinore, according to police.

As of Friday, Murrieta police Lt. Rob Firmes said Shara was still listed in the system as a missing runaway juvenile.

"She is still out there," Firmes said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call Murrieta police Sgt. Robert Anderson at 951-461-6317 or the dispatch line at 951-696-3615.

She has posted on facebook since then. She posted a new picture the 20th. OF THIS MONTH. She activated facebook for android on the 14th.

Is there any gps on her phone? Maybe the service company can track it... I hope she is ok and realizes her life will not be easy without her family behind her
