Update: Hwy. 92 Now Open But Expect Delays

A modular home fell off its trailer and is blocking the roadway.

Update 3:50 p.m.

All lanes are open now after a modular home fell off a tractor-trailer and was blocking the roadway for more than two hours today, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on a sharp turn on Highway 92 east of state Highway 35 at about 1:20 p.m., CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.

No one was injured when the home fell off, Barlett said.

The roadway was blocked in both directions as crews worked to clear lanes, Barlett said.

All lanes were reopened at 3:48 p.m., he said.

Expect residual delays on Highway 92 westbound between Highway 35 and Skyline Boulevard for the next couple of hours.

Original post 2:20 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol has closed all lanes of Hwy. 92 at lower Hwy. 35 due to a traffic accident.  At 3:01 p.m. a SIG alert was issued.

According to the CHP report, a modular home fell off its trailer and is blocking the roadway. CHP expects the road to stay closed until approximately 3:45 p.m. to clear the involved vehicles.

CHP is warning motorists to expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.
